Hosted by supermodel Sarah Murdoch, AUSTRALIA’S NEXT TOP MODEL is FOX8’s hit reality series that follows a group of young women as they try to prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modelling. After a nationwide audition tour earlier this year, which saw thousands of wannabe models apply across the country, 100 young hopefuls were chosen to come to Sydney to compete for the title of AUSTRALIA'S NEXT TOP MODEL. This is the first time in Top Model franchise history that 100 girls have been accepted into the first phase of the competition. During the series, these finalists will be transformed from attractive girls-next-door into potential working models, while navigating their way through various modelling assignments and tasks. The girls must demonstrate both inner and outer beauty as they learn to master complicated catwalks, intense physical fitness, fashion photo shoots and perfect publicity skills. On offer to the winner is a prize package to kick-start any modelling career, including a prestigious twelve month contract with Chic Management, guided by Ursula Hufnagl.
